Replace Studio Pro vs. Business Edition vs. Search and Replace 'Classic'

Replace Studio 'Pro' is intended for those who primarily use the program via the graphical interface. The 'Business Edition' is designed for those who primarily use complex scripts that may contain multiple paths &/or special options settings within the script itself. The 'Business Edition' does have a graphical interface and it can be used interactively via the GUI. However, for impromptu general search/replacing, the 'Pro' version is more convenient to use.
Can the 'Pro' version use Replace Studio 'scripts'? Yes. The 'Pro' version loads scripts in the form of 'Favorites'. A Favorite can contain multiple search/replace strings and a single file mask/path. If a Favorite contains multiple mask/path settings only the first mask/path is recognized. Also note that options settings within a Favorite are not possible and the 'Pro' version does not support processing a Favorite automatically on the command line.
The program title for Replace Studio 'Business Edition' does not mean the program is for "business" users only. We chose that term 'business edition' because corporate & business customers most often use complex scripts passed to the program via the command line. If you require a combination of free-form GUI use and scripted tasks via the command line, a dual use license for both forms of Replace Studio is the best choice. Discount package pricing is available when both forms are purchased at the same time.
Replace Studio 'Pro' is not 'more advanced' than Search and Replace 'classic'. They are simply two different programs with slightly different feature sets.
Will installing either Replace Studio trial version affect an existing installation of the registered version of Search and Replace 'classic'? NO!!! The three programs are 100% independent of each other. It is not necessary to uninstall Search and Replace before installing Replace Studio Pro/Business. Installing one has no effect on any other. You could even have all three can be running at the same time. And uninstalling any of the trial versions will not somehow uninstall Search and Replace 'classic'.
